The PSI's are intended to be a way in which students may study the Philippines and issues effecting Filipinos and Filipino-Americans. They are attempts at getting some university support behind the idea of a disciplined Philippines Study program. They are steps in a long process towards getting the program permanently established. The Philippine Study Group will continue to rally for support and sponsors for the PSI's and for other ways in which the Filipino community and friends can benefit themselves.
