U of M students should enroll for the PSI during registration period for Winter '02.

Students should also enroll for the few Filipino-centric classes available on campus, through the American Culture program, the South and Southeast Asian Studies program etc.

Parents of U of M students, or potential U of M students should encourage their children to participate in the PSI.

Parents of U of M students, Filipino community members, Friends of the Filipino community should plan on attending the evening lectures to gain knowledge about the culture, history, sociology and health. Attendance and participation increases the possibilities for establishing a Philippine Studies Program.
